Week 2: Taking Strides Towards the Finish Line

The second week was full of renovation projects. We spent a lot of time going between IKEA, Home depot, and Lowe's. It seemed like every time we finished one trip, another item would be needed.

Before any trips were made, the walls were sanded, everything that was not going to be painted was taped and/or covered, and the floors were cleaned. Once that was completed we made trips to the various stores to buy paint supplies. After painting, we began the staging process. Everything that we bought from IKEA had to be assembled, which was one of my main jobs. I assembled cabinets, vanities, night stands, and totes. Beyond this, some of them had to be stained and/or painted before it was assembled.

The renovation is not yet completed, but it is almost done, and completed pictures will be posted in the near future.
