Week 5: A Long and Tedious Task

My first task using my favorite program.

One day a client came in from Mexico, with one drafting class under his belt. Unfortunately for me, my task was to fix everything he did incorrectly. Personally, I believe it would have been easier to just start over, but my dad wanted me to fix it because that was what the client wanted.

I have spent about three days on it, but I still have about another week or two on this one thing.

***Above is a photo of his incorrect work.***

Since I started, I put each of his pages on actual pages, combined the dimensions on one floor plan, fixed all of the elevations, and started fixing the roof plan. In the next week, I need to finish the cover page, finish the roof plan, move some rooms around in the house, and type up the general notes page. After all of that, my dad will finish with all the civil stuff, I will help him since he does not know the program, but that is his area of expertise.

All in all, this is one very tedious job, but it will look good when it is done.
